The good news is that we get the ball at the beginning of the 2nd half and the defense usually plays better in the 2nd half.
But there were also reports of Bolden having great practices and him being ready to take on this challenge. Doesn’t look like it at all. Maybe the opposite works for PJ? :)

Houstons guys are running downfield and not juking much. That means unless we are tackling dead on, we aren’t likely to stand them up. Factor in that most of their short throws are slants that help deflect the angle of attack and it becomes hard to stop someone in their tracks.
Truly high- octane offense. We in the big ten are so used to 3 yards and a cloud of dust, 2 commercial breaks and a few snapshots of the fat cheer leaders for 3 minutes after a TD.
Should've known that Houston's 385 pass attempts would screw up the thread schedule.

Momentum is a huge thing.
Houstons guys are running downfield and not juking much. That means unless we are tackling dead on, we aren’t likely to stand them up. Factor in that most of their short throws are slants that help deflect the angle of attack and it becomes hard to stop someone in their tracks.

Our guys are usually quicker in making "square-up" adjustments
which helps them center up and tackle more cleanly. Not seeing that today.
